Florence, Italy

From an American perspective, Europe is so incredibly small. An hours drive can take you to another country and you can immerse yourself in an entirely different culture while a completely different language swirls around you.  A two hour flight can take you across the alps and drop you into a world where the weather is months ahead.  One weekend in April I made my way south to Italy to meet up with friends in Florence.  We soaked in the art and culture of the Renaissance in the city center and tested the wines and cruised through the hillside in Tuscany on Vespas.

This spur of the moment weekend trip to Florence was definitely a once in a life time experience.  DSC_0018 DSC_0030DSC_0023DSC_0016 DSC_0042DSC_0026 DSC_0010 DSC_0008 DSC_0009  DSC_0047 DSC_0056 DSC_0059 DSC_0061 DSC_0066 DSC_0076 DSC_0092 DSC_0091 DSC_0098 DSC_0121 DSC_0112 DSC_0914 DSC_0928 DSC_0961 DSC_0963 DSC_0964 DSC_0971 DSC_0977 DSC_0979
